Well, that was fun, wasn't it? We have finally thawed out. I didn't realize how long Grasshopper was on that ladder until I watched the videos. I couldn't have hung on that long. Three cheers for Grasshopper!

It's a good thing that we did the dip on Monday 'cause we couldn't have done it on Tuesday. The ice got that rotten over night that we would not have been able to walk out to the pool.

Did I tell you that it snowed last Saturday?

More pics from yesterday.

Bird news. Over the last few days we have seen, turkey vultures, a bald eagle, fox sparrows, white throated sparrows, blue herons, sand hill cranes, and, wait for it, ... LOONS! Don't forget to keep an eye on this site so that you know when the little hummers are coming. Humming Bird Map.

Hey Cathy & Frank … Anne & I here (at Anne's) enjoying the blog; must say, very impressed with the polar swims by both of you. Brave soles for sure. Cathy, too cool, much accomplished by you that day. Thanks to all who supported funds for such a great cause.

Frank, you've given new meaning to the words 'hot buns'.

Hey, has 'tommy' seems to have appeared once again, 'doo doo doo, doo!'

Will be chatting soon. Lizzie & Anne
