Happy Birthday to meeee!

Yeah, yesterday was my 39th (my blog, my math) and it was a grrreaaat day! I am very lucky to have an awesome family and the very best friends. We started the day off by going to the Bay to visit all 6 Super kids, and their Moms and Dads.

Here we have Nova, Athena, Kaeden, Captain Kurt, Ellia, and Calliope watching Scooby-Doo.

 K-man testing blood sugar.

Lunch.

Too cute, Floyd.

Bishops opening presents.

Grasshopper re-gifted pressed flowers that she had gotten from the Hippy-Chick from Woodstock to Calliope and Ellia. They loved them.

Cutting the birthday cake held their attention.

Grasshopper's chocolate/peppermint cake.

Count 'em up, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and one more makes 6. Kaeden, Athena, Floyd, Ellia, Nova, and Calliope.

Silly pic.

HEY! Where are my peeps???

That's better.

Again, we would really like to thank the Slote family for allowing us to take over their home so that we could all get together.

Then, it was off to the Estate for another party.  Remember, round is a shape.

The shmorgishborg. That table sure gets a work out.

The happy birthday song.

Just kidding, it wasn't that bad.

Bryan, Mary-Lou, TT, Sir Edwin, Damn, oops, I mean Dame Jose.

Jiang-Li and Bryan watching the marching out of the ice cream.

Jon, doing his best Captain Jack impression.

The haul. I should be good to go for the rest of the year.

I know that Christmas has passed, but I have to post these ones 'cause I would forget where they were next year.

Christmas Eve and Christmas day 2013.

Grab a 'nog and settle in for a very long post.

The traditional Xmas eve Chinese dinner at the Estate. Jose goes all out with her decorations.

Cozy fire.

Looking down from on high.

Left over pie.

These decorations have tea lights inside.

But the auto focus and flash makes for a blurry pic.

Not all the peeps stayed still, so I'll just name them and you can put names to any face you want. Of course Sir Edwin and Jose were at their own home, along with me and Grasshopper, TT, Bryan, Shirley, we can't forget Jaanisha, and Mary, too. You might not remember Mary, but she has been here before.  She is originally from Bay Bulls. It's a long story, and I mean it's a loonnngg story, on how she ended up in North Bay.

La chefette. my blog, my dictionary.

Grasshopper's famous chewy chocolate chip cookies.

Jose's famous mincemeat pies. Rachel, you snooze, you lose.

Christmas day in North Bay with the Brown Superkids.

George had let the fire go out, on a cool morning.

Nice 'rise.

George had also forgotten to turn the panels last night.

Merry Christmas.

After loading up the sleigh, going across to Bed Rock, getting the old Goat warmed up, and changing into "townie" clothes, we finally got to see Floyd.  Oh, and Rachel, too.

Floyd rocks all kinds of hats.

Calliope opening presents.

Super Nova.

That was fast, Nova!

Is that left over right and under?

"I just need a power nap."

"OK, let's give 'er."

"I find that droolie paper rips much easier."

"Is this where the batteries go?"

Calliope has her first bracelet done.

Floyd is always the center of attention. Here he sittin' with cousin Molly.

"WAIT! She's not Momma!"

This is Rachel's BILy, Big Matt. What's bigger, the beer, or the smile?

Matt still hasn't let go of that beer.

Down the far end is Gerry, Floyd, Rachel, Nova, Joseph, Molly, Matt's nape, Calliope, Grasshopper, Sam hidden beside Sarah, and Linda.

A very special thank you to the Slote family for allowing us to intrude on their day and letting us spend time with with the Brown Super kids. Thank you.
