A very Happy 9th birthday to Super-daughter Ellia.

Ain't she sweet?

A few weeks ago the North Bay fire department were called out to a car fire on the Mitchell Lake road. Some people were surprised that the city dept. would come all the way out here. Photos by Vic and Jane.

A ring neck snake on the old stump in the back yard.

On the 13th we were invaded by the US navy. Here are the Szy's, (give me a vowel) Tom and Mary Anne.

They did bring eats. German style "weck" buns.

And the best ever corn. Mary Anne, Tom, Grasshopper, and TT.

Going home.

Practising to hand feed the grouse.

On the 14th, No-show Richie showed up for 29 minutes. Now you see him,...

Now you don't.

Cloud with a hole in it.

A snake used Grasshopper's Phaser track to shed it's skin.

Sooooo close.

Last evening we went on a dinner cruise with the Szys, Frasers, and Rudy.

The Auto pilot wasn't the only one wearing a toque. Richie, you will LOL!!! What ever will they do in October, never mind in February.

Success at last! Four chicks ate from my hand.

You're welcome.

Cleaning up at THE estate.

One of life's embarrassing moments, X's 2.

A pile of brush waiting for a chipper.

The crew has to be fed, of course. Paul, Edwin, Jose, Grannie Ticket, TT, Jocosa, Grasshopper, and Sharon.

Mon amie Germaine made an awesome sugar pie.

I still haven't got used to the narrows looking like this.

The young grouse are molting, see the tails are missing.

They are very friendly and are very close to taking seed from the hand.

BUT!, there are not, one, not two,..

but three foxes coming to the feeder too. The third one is hard to see, look through the tree trunk, just below the arrow sign.

OK, we need a minute to take a breath. aaaah.

This merganser family was chasing minnows under the dock.

Who? Not us!

On Wednesday we said goodbye to Sharon, with a supper, of course! Fried chicken and chili. Let's see if I get this one right, Edwin, Jose, TT, Grasshopper, Bryan, Paul, Sharon of course, Juliza, and Nichole. How did I do?

And dessert.

Bryan getting a trim at the Cafe and Clip.

Maggie, too.

Pastels on the way home.

I kept forgetting to post these pics of a burnt out logging truck on the Notman road last month. Pics are from the Kellys.

This reminds me of all the signs at Nasty puke. If they removed all the signs, the buildings would fall down.
