Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know it's been awhile, but, we have been busy again. So, let's see if we can remember what's happened in the last 12 days.

It was Grasshopper's birthday the last time we spoke. That evening we went to the estate for a surprise birthday party. If I forget somebody, just put it down to sometimers. Jose, Bryan, Mork and Mindy, Tom and Mary-Anne, Joey, Jessalin, Dale, Nathan, Shirley-Mae, Mr. and Mrs. Slate, Paul, Jon and Mary-Lou, Don and Tina and Payden.

The party room.

Nana T brings in Payden and Shirley-Mae before the stampede.

Sun set from the Estate.

Full moon on the ride home.

Seeing eye to eye with Mrs. Henny Penny.

Am I the only one who sees a dragon?

If you look close you will see Mrs. Henny Penny and three tweens and, maybe Pops?

Last Tuesday I took

Jose's friends

Gord

and Lynn for a tour of Lil' Tomiko.

The Szy's.

There were some young fellows jumping at the rope swing.

Joey.

Tom, and you may not recognize Mary-Anne with her clothes on.

Going home thru the narrows.

Property for sale, including a "stool" shed.

We had dinner at Tom and Mary-Anne's on Wednesday with Joey, the Frasers and Payden, but I forgot my camera, again.

Fog, yesterday morning.

A little pinkish sun set.

Another grouse video.  You can hear the grouse purring as they eat.

Happy Birthday Grasshopper!

Mrs. Henny Penny and chicks came by for supper last evening. Here is a short video. Mrs. had just been dust bathing in the driveway and now she shakes it off.

Here is a longer version on YouTube. It's a little shaky and blurry. Click me.

Yeah, ya just never get tired of the views.

Guess who's back.  Yup, Mrs. Henny Penny. We hadn't seen her since the last of snow.

And, guess what. She brought 3 babies with her.

Momma keeping a watch full eye.

George chill-axing.

The babies are hard to see. All 3 are in this picture.

This morning they came to within 4 feet of me. I think they are more like tweenagers. Their tails are starting to grow now.

We haven't seen any grouse since spring until this big guy showed up a couple of days ago. He has been back a few times since.

The Brown's from Michigan dropped by on Friday. Here's Floyd keeping a sharp eye on George.

Nova, hot dogs for lunch.

You better not put that picture on your blog Grandpa.

While Grandpa Frank, Nova and Calliope went fishing...

Floyd hung out at the beach.

He caught a couple of tadpoles.

Where's Gonzo?

There he is.

Calliope on a tube.

We had so much fun in such a short time that we didn't take very many pics.

Today Dawg the raven was released from rehab.  We missed the video of him walking out to freedom, and as usual, he flew into the trees after the cameras left.

YouTube video of Dawg the raven's release.

He didn't like the worm.
