A little catch up before I get too far behind. This is a busy time of year for us. I think I'll take the cover off of the boat today and start getting it ready for launch, sometime next month.

Pics from last Saturday.

You could still walk down the boat ramp on to the ice.

On ramp to the Don Fraser Bypass.

That's a pretty big jump.

Partridge poop.

Our driveway.

A drift on our road. From pole top to pole top,  well over a foot of snow here.

The Bypass.

Just outside our gate.

The back yard.

I tippy toed on the snow ramp to about a foot of ice.

Lots of grackles lately.

Big flocks of geese going north today.

We took out the boughs on the water line yesterday.

-3 overnight made a skim of ice,

 all along our shore.

The snow ramp is done. :((

I still think that the road is strong enough to walk on, if you could get out to it.

Some people say that spring is slow coming this year. April 25 2015, pretty close, eh?

A bare spot on the drive way.

No bare spots out there.

Happy Birthday Charlie Brown (yesterday) <:-P

No, not this one...

This one.  >:D<

Sorry Charlie, yesterday we were busy taking the studs off of the F150 and doing maintenance on ole Bella and didn't go online all day.

We have had a Northern Flicker hanging around the past couple of days. One of my favorite birds.

A shaky video. Just when you think you got 'em, you don't.

The Kelly boys hosted a bachelor weekend for a couple of their buddies taking that lonely walk.

Red neck side X side stereo console.

Gord and Barb's place seen thru the narrows.

Can you see the Frasertown draw bridge?

There were a couple of slushy spots yesterday.

The ice is pulling away from our shore making it hard to get out to good ice, so today is the first day of slushy season where the lake is too soft for a snow machine and too hard for a boat. There is still too much snow on our road for 4 wheelers and not enough snow on the A5 road for us to get to our truck on a sled. We are still getting minus temps at night so the melt looks like it's gonna be slow this year, which is not necessarily a bad thing. The Slates report that water is flowing across the Little Tomiko causeway.
