Last Friday "they" called for a 70% chance of flurries. The only people who miss as often as "they" do are baseball players, or the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The sun trying to burn a hole thru ice crystal.

 Where's my trail?

A nice, clean palette for men's weekend.

I love the old school sleds.

All the usual felons were there. Ooops, auto spell check at work, that should be fellows?

Gord and Paul were the big wieners. Ooops winners?

And Jamie gave them a trophy, too.

Ron and Charles(?) sometimers  were second, who needs a trophy?

Happy leap day.

Artist appreciation.

We celebrated TT's birthday at the Fowler Estate. In attendance were, Jose, Jyllina, TT, Sir Edwin, Cathy, and Bryan. Jyllina got new "implants" and now she doesn't need her glasses anymore. It's a miracle!

Blowing out the candle.

Today's funny. You just have to learn to love your inner snowman and make the most out of it.

Happy Birthday Dr. Joseph.

I know that you don't think that birthdays are all that special, but, where would we be without them?

Part of my Little Tomiko Lake maintenance duties, besides cleaning "solar" windows, is plowing the highway from Frasertown to Whiterock. This is MY favourite tool for the job. Yes, it's mine, mine, all mine! muwhahaha! possession + 9/10's = mine! har, har, har.

My baby pushing snow.

Rear view out of MY baby, on the Little Tomiko highway.

Front view out of MY baby.

Putting MY baby to bed. Hey Gary, if you had a baby like MY baby, you would pray for snow every night!

Today's funny, for the birthday biologist.

Busy, busy, busy. Things to do and places to go.

But, not too busy to say

"Happy Birthday"

to the Queen of London, seen here on her royal steed, Betty.

As a present here are some pics 'cause I know that nothing makes MY heart flutter more than a clean, fresh, new snow fall.

A birthday funny for Linda.

Jose took this sun set pic while I was bobbing around the lake with out my camera. Thanks Jose.

A couple more seasonal pics. Deep fried turkey @ the AKA Smith's. No people pics, not allowed by the Marshal Service.

This might have been the best turkey ever, and it only took like 40 minutes! Crispy skin, mmmmm.

Young James and his betrothed, Rachel came to Lil' Tomiko for New Years. They brought an UpsideDownUnder with them.
Oh no, I forgot her name.  Any way, the young ladies loved my buns, round, firm, and tender, yet soft and chewy, I believe they said.

This guy has been a regular visitor to the feeders. We have one grouse who lost part of his ruff, and this is the suspect.

But, all three are still here.

What an end to an awesome day.

I went fishing by myself last Wednesday. I only caught two lings, this one being the biggest.

Moon rising.

Last Thursday went to Doe Lake with DLR and Jose.

The man cave.

Touring the lake.

Snap!

Big Luke, Bonehead and the Oscar Meyer Man came up last Thursday. There goes Big Luke, on his way home.

.

Diesel sez "Let's go Bonehead! Luke is going without us!"

Rat dogs ALWAYS slow every thing down 'cause they can't do ANYTHING by themselves.

The best view is when they leave. Cough, cough. Do you hear that? Peace and quiet, aaah.

Some communities have a Bat light, Little Tomiko has a 911 Frank light.

We still have three grouse coming to the feeder.

Homemade wieners and beans.

It's been quiet around here lately. Big Luke and his side kick, Bone Head were here 2 weekends ago. They are pretty low maintenance in that they can find their own trouble. No pics 'cause they rarely sit still long enough.

So, I'll catch you up with pics from the celebration season. My most favourite daughter-in-law made a quilt for us.

The back had a bunch of cottage themed patterns.

George decided that it was for him. NOT!

Christmas dinner at the Fowler Estate.

Going up the big hill on our driveway on our way home.

Fresh snow for my birthday!

Butt warmer.

Today's funny.
