Another long update.

Soooooo looooong ago.

Christmas in November.

I went to the Tomiko restaurant with Mork, Razor, Bonehead and Big Luke.

Where's Luke?

Meeting up with Bonehead and Big Luke on the road to Riches.

I've started my morning walks again. NO BUGS!!!!

This would have been around last Wednesday. Ice starting to form.

We went to town last Friday for xmas shopping.

While out for our afternoon walk Grasshopper and I found something we have never seen before.

We have seen otter trails before.

But, we have never seen 3 otters going single file. They separated when they came out on our road.

And then went back to single file.

The next day the tracks were a little clearer after melting a bit.

By Sunday the ice was gone.

Chick-a-dee-dee-dee.

Our first sighting of a female evening grosbeak in winter dress.

This was the first grouse we have seen in weeks. Nope, not Mrs. Penny.

This morning.

We had a bit of an ice storm that took down a few trees on our road and the Bypass. Razor came over and helped with the clean up.

Wolf track on the Bypass.

2 tracks. Looks like Mom and a pup.

Deer track at our gate.

Last known picture of Dawg at the kitchen window of the AKA Smiths. Taken in early October, I think.

Jackie, of the Taboo sistas, has a niece, Yvette who makes dream catchers. We sent her some feathers that we collected and she sent this dream catcher to us.

Happy Birthday Mike

Beer Mugs emoticon (Drinking smileys)

You remember my brother Mike?

Yeah, he's the one who likes his KFC on the rare side. :D

Your birthday video

All of your buds singing happy birthday. P.S. They are all snow balling to your kitchen tonight.

OK, I'll try to catch you up. Still busy so I might keep the narrative down a bit.  Some pics might be out of sequence.

Oct 27.

Supervising another septic installation. This one @ Dan and Judy's. Why do I get all the shitty jobs?

There was the odd nugget.

We went somewhere that evening and came home to flurries.

Oct 28.

Snow!

11 Loons

Watching the night shift going home.

I can't remember where I was going, or why.

The narrows.

Cold and foggy on that side.

Sullivan's boat heading to dry dock.

Oct 30.

The snow is gone.

 Oct 31.

Nov 2.

The old wood splitter died of congestive heart failure and a major hemorrhage.

After a few days of kneeling on the wet grass trying to shoe horn and Frankensteining a couple of different motors ...

I saw that Crappy Tire had splitters on sale, so I got one. Some assembly required.

Nov 3.

The fish are still jumping.

2 geese. We saw a flock of snow geese one day, but no pics.

Nov 4.

First piece.

 Nov 5.

Nov 6.

Ducks

Nov 7.

Can you see 3 grouse?

On guard.

Nov 10.

One of the best ever sun sets, and we missed the first part when the sky looked like gold/silver pearls 'cause we were at Bedrock without a camera.

Fire water.

 Nov 11.

We went to town that day. The first kilometer was a little cheeky.

Nov 14.

So calm after days and days of huge winds.
