Firstly, some updates. The Hippy Chic from Woodstock has been released from rehab and is at home finishing her recovery before going on vacation to California next month.

Jon is still in Sudbury, doing nicely. Grasshopper and TT went shopping in Sudbury and visited with him. St. Paul and Sharon also visited. He is upwardly mobile and may get a day pass soon. I don't know if he will get an ankle bracelet.

X marks the spots.

More X's.

There are still bugs hatching.

Sorry Catherine, there are not too many soft woods around your Dad's place for lots of colour, but it is still pretty. Today there are scuba divers splashing around.

Still lots of green around the Syz's.

Friday we went for a tour on the Lady Jo. We came across Mandy in her kayak. "Throw it back! It's too small!"

Jose and Bryan.

St. Paul, Jozette, and Sir Edwin.

A little more colour today.

We came across a Momma Loon with a 6-7 inch bass and her baby. It took a while, and she lost it a couple of times, but she finally got it down.

Momma and baby.

Then it was back to the Estate for Jose's famous, fabulous onion rings.

Oh yeah, and burgers and 'dogs and fixin's.

Colours on our property yesterday morning.

 Me and my shadoooow.

Not a great pic, but we have had 2 of this year's chicks come to the feeder. You can tell that they are young by the short tails.

I've been doing some furniture repairs lately.

Just an observation?

Today's funny.

Today's truism.

First off, an update on Jonny. He is still in Sudbury and doing daily rehab and doing really well. We talk to him every couple of days.  Hope to see him back in the Bay soon.

------------------------------------------------------------
Last Sunday we bobbed over to The Estate for a visit.

Bumps on a log?

Nope, Mergansers.

Mountain ash berries, or Rowan berries, as the Brits say. It's like they have a different word for everything.

The Estate.

Some call it Frasertown, and some call it home, oh, stop yer whining.

Recognize this bay?

Going thru the narrows.

Monday I took Grasshopper and St. Paul on a ride up to Brûlé Lake. This guy is pretty serious about his security.

It's only fun and games until someone loses an eye.

A beaver dam along side the  Brûlé Lake road.

Sunset Monday night.

Frost this morning.

And fog. 20C yesterday and 3 over night.

The fog is lifting.

Fog all gone. I never, ever get tired of this view. Kinda makes you think, is it all due to convergent, divergent, and parallel evolution or did Someone have a bigger plan???

The neighbours.

So, baby Tim bot had a boo boo with a 9mm up on the Mackenzie river in the NWT. As you can see, his company health care plan sprung for a prosthetic eye. Yeah, fun and games ... Moral, don't play war games with a PPCLI Grunt.

I "liked" this shirt on facebook. As some of you know, Kman is a T1.

Today's truism.

Oh, that was pretty heavy. Time for a funny.

What? Not funny enough for you?

That's your opinion, and you're entitled to keep it to yourself!
