Happy Birthday Super Ninja Princess!

You didn't think that you were going to get off that easy, did you?

There is an eagle under the V stalking Lenny.

It flew off when I got too close. It's tricky operating a camera and a boat at the same time in the shallow narrows.

Tuesday we went to the Szy's for dinner. We had fun with Flo, Tom, Mary Anne, TT, and Dale.

No, that's not dessert, that's the main course! It's chicken baked with peaches and fruit cocktail! And you know what? I liked it!

Pass Frank's buns, please.

Pass Frank's buns, please.

Pass Frank's buns, please.

And for dessert, chicken meringue pie! Gotcha! It's really  lemon meringue pie. Yummy.

Miserable looking whiskey jack looking in the window for a treat. It's been raining here since before forever.

Propane fridge maintenance. They don't make 'em like they used to. Never get rid of your old Servels.

Oh, wait a sec! This one is for Bonehead and sCarrie. Can't we all just get along? Country mash up with Mötley Crüe

 here's a whole song.

My bad: I totally forgot to congratulate Freddy and Steph on their nuptials last Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Muratore.

A young whiskey jack. They are very skittish.

A merganser family.

I made bread Thursday,

the aroma wafted o'er the lake and they came out of the woods thru the pouring rain.

The Smiths stayed for supper. We had maple glazed, stuffed pork loin for supper à la chef François Le Brun.

Our boy, Lenny.

Lenny and Mom and Dad.

Lunch, at the sushi cafe.

Finally, veggies for me!

Home schoolin'.

Yes, Cindy.

Last Saturday we had a pot luck @ The Lube and Grill to welcome back the Szys and to introduce Dan and Judy who bought the Chadala camp last fall.

Setting up my kitchen.

The hungry crowd.

I handled corn on the cob and deep fried chicken legs. Who needs Razor and Bitchy Richie?

That's Dan and Judy seated in the back, middle.

Everybody looks happy and no one got food poisoning. That's a great day, I would say.

Monday we went to the Estate for a see ya later dinner for David and Beatriz.

Sir Edwin kept the Szys entertained by telling the story of his and Jose's immigration to Canada.

We had to scrimp by on cheesy baked potatoes, salad, buns,

rice, beef stir fry, and bacon wrapped chicken thighs.

And pie and ice cream and jello for dessert.

The Szy's doggette, Jersey.

Bess is recovering well from her surgery. She is starting to put weight on her leg.

We had some weather pass thru last evening, but the camera couldn't really pick up the weird, yellowish colour.

 Har, har, har.

I get this all the time.

Chuckles.

Global warming protest.
