First off I would like to congratulate my brother Mike, and Kim, and hope that they had a great day yesterday and a bazillion more in the future.

Secondly I would like to apologize for the lack of blogs lately, but I've been too busy. It seems like one dock day afternoon after another. And water leaks over here and water leaks over there. And sometimes it's hard to fix a half assed Jam-bony with a proper Frankenstein. And the bugs are bad, all of them. Four more months 'till first frost.

Today it is overcast, but the past couple of weeks have looked just like this. We really could use some rain.

The pilot guiding us thru the narrows.

I've been so busy that I haven't finished shingling the A frame yet. I've been staying awake at nights trying to figure out how Grasshopper can shingle over the bump outs. The roof is too steep to stand on and too wide to reach across from a ladder. I know that you can buy roof jacks, but when someone else is doing climbing, you can go on the cheap.

This ought to hold her?

And, I think that this fall restraint system should discourage all slips and falls.

Hey, I'm just kidding, I wouldn't make Grasshopper do that! I'll pay her. minimum wage.

Happy Birthday Squeegy!

I believe that it is not proper to disclose a lady's age, but that dress looks very Victorian.

As you know, Grasshopper was in the land that time forgot. She was due home on Tuesday, but on Monday I was REALLLY missing her and got ready for her return.

She brought company for supper.

Lobster yoga.

Hey Gary, it must have been my birthday!

YUMMY

This time it's not my fault!

The roof rake is still on the solar panels.

You can blame Pet Lamb. The last time I saw her she said that there would be one more good snow job, and she was right.

The wind is blowing the seeds off of the yellow birch trees.

I hope that you read this really fast 'cause we are finally on the Autobahn of the info high way. This is so fast that you will find out what's happening at Little Tomiko before I do. Whoohooo! Smokin'!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SIS

I know it's tomorrow, but I'll be running around town tomorrow.

Today, like Gene Kelly, I was "shingling in the rain".

OK, now it is time for some love advice for Mr. Flicker. I know that you only get "it" once a year, but if you scream your head off for ten hours and she doesn't respond, she's just not into you! It's time to move on, go to some other neck of the woods. Scream some where else. Some where that I'm not. Jeeesh, enough is enough.

So, while grasshopper is in the land that time forgot, having Ya Ya (Bla Bla?) party/meetings with her FAVORITE sister, and the other three too, I've kept my self busy. Last evening I took my dinner date,TT, to the Fowler's for a birthday celebration for BIG Brian and also for Jose's retirement. Those in attendance were, me, Tina, Ed, Jose, Brian, Mick, Cathy, Melissa, Chris and what's her name. April I think.

What could top a delicious meal of roast beef AND roast pork, with ALL the trimmings? Well, maybe a slice of this.........

AND a slice of this? With peanut butter chocolate persuasion ice cream of course.

May be what's her name's name is May.

After Kita and I dropped TT off at Frasertown we put-putted through the fog banks.

Today I started shingling the A frame and found some one to keep me company while the supervisor slept. Rain and a couple of thunder boomers chased me in around 3 o'clock, but it passed after all the tools were put away. Now it is just blowing 90 out there.

If you thought that you might come up and open your cottages before the black flies start,

YOUR TOO LATE !

But if you want to come and offer them an alternate food source, I'm Okay with that.
They have been around for a few days, but were not biting, until today. I tried some of Itchy Bitchy Richie's Aunt's home made fly dope with some success. I prefer the fly dope that kills the !@#$#@'s in their tracks.

What's her name's name is June. I can never forget it after forgetting it the first time because she reminds me EVERY time I see her.
