Happy Tenth Anniversary

Michelle and Kurt!

Sorry, no recent pics of the two of them together in the same shot. That happens when you have three super rug rats all going in different directions.

Happy 7th Birthday

Princess Ellia.

There has been a change in the weather lately, you can feel the first signs of fall. Next time we are out and about we'll have to take pics of the first maples that have changed colours already.

I have been reminded that I omitted the names of some guests at the engagement party. Besides me, Grasshopper, Rachel, Jose, Ed, and Tina, there was Mick, Cathy, Bryan, Joanne and two young people that their names have slipped my memory banks.

OLIO

Sunday morning I spotted this abandoned boat at the beach.

By the salvage laws of the Seven Seas, and one small lake, it's finder's keepers!

Mooring fees are adding up.

Actually I witnessed the boat turn upside down Saturday afternoon. Grasshopper and I helped turn it keel side down and towed it to the beach. We did hold it hostage for a dozen fresh eggs. As a side note, did you know that American/Newfies from Argentia do not float?

We have had a flock of 7 to 8 Loons in our bay. Normally they don't flock up 'till just before they migrate right before freeze up.

Lots of fog the past week with the very high humidity. It really makes you think that you are in the center of the universe.

Tuesday we had supper at Lady Jose's and Sir Edwin's.

Do you like my buns?

Is that Victoria Beckham?

No, she is Rachel, fiance of young Sir James, heir to the Fowler Estate. Beside her is proud future mother-in-law Jose and in behind is proud future Auntie Tina. No firm date yet, sometime between now and then.

Sunset from a different perspective.

Two posts today!

Last Sunday we had a pot luck to say thanks to Linda for being a special friend.

Left to right, Chef Le Brun, Hostess Tina and Linda.

Peeps came from far and wide.

More peeps.

Still more peeps.

Many more peeps.

Peeps to over flowing.

Lots of food.

More food.

and some more food.

Just Plain old Ron gave a nice speech and presented Linda with a card signed by all of her friends.

In this pic, I think that Linda realizes how many friends she has.

Tom and Mary Anne Szymanski came all the way from Gowanda NY to present Linda with a print made by Tom of a painting by Mary Anne of a beaver pond on the Sand Dam road.

Tuesday morning we started packing Linda.

It started to rain just as we started to load the truck, of course.

I'm thinkin' that someone forgot that we stop working at 2 PM on Little Tomiko.

It MUST be 5 o'clock somewhere.

After loading a truck all day, who cooked that wonderful supper on a neighbor's BBQ?
Hmmmm I wonder who?

Wednesday morning, Linda's last swim.

The car is all loaded.

The truck too.

See ya later Linda.

"OK Jen, you sorta turn the wheel in the direction that you want to go."

This is my new brother Mike. Not to replace my old brother Mike, just an addition. He was kind of a help as long as you kept him motivated.

The view in Linda's rear view mirror. Many memories I'm sure.

Meet the new owners, Mr. and Mrs. Smith. That's John Smith, so you don't get him mixed up with the other Smith and Marylou.

I think that they will fit in very well after they learn that everyday is Saturday on Little Tomiko.

We had to test out Lee's new non-bouncy deck with some of his guests from Toronto (somewhere south of Huntsville).

Another dinosaur inspired fire.

On Saturday, we got to spend some time with all 5 Super kids at once as the Bishops passed thru N.B. on their way home to Kitchener and before the Browns moved to Moscow, Idaho on Sunday. So, let's count 'em up, 1, 2, 3...

OK, let's try that again, 1, 2, 3, 4...

One more time, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5!

L to R, Nova, Kaeden, Ellia, Calliope and Athena.

Ellia was a little tired from the long car ride so we had to shake some cranks out of her.

Calliope goes for an airplane spin.

Kaeden's turn.

GpF was rode hard and put away wet.

Athena finally warms up to Kita.
