A couple of mornings ago.

That evening.

A loon on the lake as we went to Linda's.

The loons came in close to the dock today.

And later, the mergansers came in too.

First off Happy anniversary Kurt and Michelle, plus one day. You know that sometimer's disease. Plus, I thought that yesterday was Saturday, but when you are retarded, I mean retired, every day is Saturday.

Evening shots.

We have a major problem of seagulls on the lake. Doc put an owl on gull sht rocks to dissuade them from landing. It didn't work very well. And the solar light disappeared.

YAHOOOOO! Fall is coming!

We've had a whole herd of Hummingbirds at the feeders the past week or so. They empty the feeders every two days. They are noisy little buggers who fight all day long and sometimes get a little annoying.

The Goldfinches have been regular visitors, too. They are pretty shy and don't like to sit for a pose.

Happy Birthday Superkid Ellia! You are 4 years old now and will be going to JK this year.

On Friday, the Brown Superkids, Calliope and Nova came for a visit. Since the trailer park trash invited us to a pot luck on Saturday, the first order of business was to make some of Grandpa Frank's famous buns. Assistant chef Calliope does all the hard work.

Calliope has good genes, she inherited Grandpa's buns.

Playing on the deck.

Serious Nova.

Bird watcher Calliope.

Nova checks the tire pressure on the old goat.

Germ, Tammy and Mike keep an eye on the cauldrons.

Hungry hoards.

It was decided to move the camp fire closer to the grub. Here, TPD finds a new way to warm his buns.

Calliope tells every one how old she is, while Nova levels the grounds.

Thelma and Louise are heading out on their road trip today. If you wear a cowboy hat, be afraid, very afraid!

Richie, when have we heard that before? Oh, the last three times that you were supposed to come. P.S., Mr. Soprano is here and he has a deal that you can not refuse. Some thing about a sister in law, or cement shoes.

Clouds clearing after a storm a couple of days ago.

A loon flying into the sun set.

We went to town on Tuesday and had supper at Linda's that evening. Other than that it's been pretty quiet on the Little Tomiko. But, that's about to change. The Brown super kids are coming for a visit this afternoon and the Y'alls are here from New York State. Still no sightings of Richie and/or Berlin.

I had a 911 call yesterday about a chicken that was so heavy that it couldn't walk. Of coarse Dr. Hermit had the cure. The chicken is now resting very comfortably,... in my freezer.

OK, OK, OK, give me a break. If anything was happening, I'd let you know. It's been a very quiet week. No rain and temps in the high 20's and low 30's.

The skies have pretty much looked like this all week, boring, eh?

The lake level has dropped a couple of inches, leaving a little beach for the Brown Superkids to play on, in a week or so.

Crystal clear water.

This mother Merganser is down to three babies.

The sky last evening as we went to Maxie Park to visit TPD and Cindy, the only people around this weekend. The "old folks" in the big house were in bed by eight. If I get that old, just shoot me.

Hey Richie, I hear that you are coming up soon. Just like the last two times that you didn't make it? I've worked for some bad bosses, but your new boss is the worst that I've every heard of. At least you could let Berlin come by her self.

Saturday night Grasshopper finally had a night off from cooking and got to enjoy a meal at Razor's Lube and Grill, hosted by TPD and Cindy.

Everybody gave Grasshopper lots of elbow room at the buffet table!!

Doc Shaw on the left, with the gloves off! Whew!

The Trailer Park trash chowing down.

The Shaw's dog, Kimo.

After dining out, we had a camp fire. I call this pic, "The Schemers".

Last night we went to another camp fire at Maxie Park. This view was in the rear view mirror.

No fish in this boat because the Pickeral Queen wasn't aboard.

Gord and Gibby came to the fire too. Ignore the guy on the right, he couldn't carry a tune in a wheelbarrow.

Barb had a death grip on the "grape juice".

And then she led the sing song.

P.S. Grasshopper has finally updated her blog, link on the right side of this page.
