Cat and Kat have gone to town again, so I get a crack at the computer. No composter to do, I did that the last time that Grasshopper went to town. Today you get two subjects. A few evenings ago we were visited by Capt. Vic, Pet Lamb, The Pickerel Queen and just old Ron.

Meet Maggie, Jane's(?) new puppy.

Alice and Maggie.

Vic didn't want another dog(?)

TTFN!

The next few pics are for Dr. Alan who would like to know how Jose survives in the cold northern Canadian hinterland.

Here's her trapper shack deep in the boreal forest.

Here's Herself with her man eating bear-dog.

You ALWAYS have to keep your eyes peeled for local wildlife.

A nice cool place to rest on those three hot days of summer that we get up here.

An English country garden in in the northern wilds.

Some of that English humour.(?)

Don't forget the pot luck on Sunday at Frasertown. Rain or shine. Meet and greet 4'ish. Make sure everybody knows.

Bishop Super kids visit Little Tomiko.

A cool dip to start the day.

Athena has her marshmallow ready to go.

Kaeden.

Ellia says that you have to roast them just right.

K-man and GpF go 4wheelin'

Miss Ellia's turn.

All set for the traditional bumpy ride in the boat.

Fun on the futon.

OK, Grandpa and Grandma Bishop, we got 'em all wired up for you. Have fun.

Firstly, before sometimers sets in and I forget, Linda Birkby has sold her cottage so we will be holding a pot luck at Razor's Lube and Grill (Little Tomiko Cottages) on Sunday Aug 1. so that everybody can say so long. Cocktails start 4'ish. BYOB, BYOchair. We will try to contact as many people as we can, but if we miss any body, please let them know.

One of the problems with not doing posts as regular as I used to, I sometimes forget when and where certain events occurred. So, here are some random pictures taken at random times and places. I'll add notes where the rememory circuits are working.

Some afternoon(????) Richie, Leanne, Addison, Bear, Ben, Laura and Cody dropped by. Cody is the cute little red head, not the tall goofy one.

There's Addison, hiding behind Ben.

Lee bought a stairway to...

Diesel hitching a ride. I do remembering Vicki serving an awesome supper on this evening and Lee doing an OK job on the steaks.

You too can have a nice camp fire just like this one if you use large amounts of fossil fuel to kick start it.

I DO remember this day, JULY 19 Grasshopper's birthday. I picked the berries and made the blueberry buckle coffee cake myself, from scratch.

We spent last Friday afternoon with the Brown Superkids in town. Not too many pics as the paparazzi was too slow on the shutter button.

The blue heron chicks are getting pretty big. Probably off to college soon.

I just missed this shot. The ripples at the top left are loons diving while George was duck hunting. That is just a stick on the ramp.

This looked like another storm, but it fizzled out pretty quick.

George's loons came up for air.

This one ran away across the water singing "loony" tunes.

Blueberries.

Fog this morning.

That was a good one Tim. I hope the Antichrist Gates isn't running amok inside your computer.

Shalom, Sheila! Long time...etc. I can just see you now on the BIG island in your grass skirt. How do you keep those coconut shells on? At least the skirt won't catch fire on the Wet Coast. But I hear that that's not the grass that they smoke in British California any way. ...PS Who's old?

It's not the heat, it's the humility? WoW, it's been hot lately, too hot for us winter people. The air is almost as humid as the lake. This pic taken at 8 am on a sunny day. I've actually had to jump in the lake a bunch of times already. Yeah, I know, it's not even August yet!

Monday was His Lordship's ^( th birthday. (you can decode the code). Most of His subjects came to the castle to help him celebrate. Here is Bloke Mick with the seated Duke Edwin.

Gord tells such sad stories that it brings tears to Joan's eyes.

More peons.

And a few more vassals.

The Banquet Hall.

Grasshopper has finally gotten off facebook long enough to post her bear pics and some over due winter shots.
