Don't give me any grief, it's only been 6 days since the last update. Not like forever like some peoples, not to mention any names, Mic....

Back around the 16th we had a little cold snap that snapped the new ice on the lake making some cracks that water seeped thru. It looked like someone had been sledding already. Maybe Razor dream sledding?

I took Ski-Doo-Bee-Doo to church for the first time this winter.

The off ramp from the Don Fraser bypass. Mmmm, maybe not yet.

Fresh snow on the morning of the 17th.

On my morning walk-about. Hello me.

Not sure what happened here. Did a bird catch a mouse?

We started building the snow ramp to access our yard from the lake. Grasshopper packs down the snow with snow shoes.

A little more snow on the 18th.

The fire pit.

A air hole right beside the dock.

You can see where we floated snow yesterday.

Last evening the wind started blowing like crazy and blew all night and all day today and is still blowin'. It left big bare patches that looked watery. This spot was slushy yesterday but has a skim of ice now.

The air hole is still here.

The off ramp.

We have been over our road so many times already that it looks like a groomed trail.

The sun popped out for 2 minutes today showing snow waves on the lake.

I have received several versions of this one. Do I really complain about bugs that much? :(

=))

Oh!, Oh! I almost forgot. Happy solstice to you tomorrow.

Happy Birthday SILy Anne

Your Birthday song.

Testing the ice back on the 10th.

Sun set shadows.

Mexican road kill chicken on the barby.

Sun set photo bomb.

Just ANOTHER great thing about winter, super sun sets.

Este pollo era realmente delicioso.

Fresh snow covered the ice.

On the 12th the 4 wheelers went into hibernation.

And the sleds came out to play.

 Frost on bare ice.
