Happy birthday Big Bryan!

Who has celebrated their 70th birthday?

Popeye,

Raquel,

Superman,

Chucky,

And Bryan, of course.

One of Jose's ravens came by for a snack.

Snow shower last Thursday.

Later a flight of swallows came by to amuse us.

So, Bryan, remember this.

Today's climate change message.

ACK! My computer ate my homework! I had some Fowler Feast Fotos, some bee-uu-tee-full April snow pics and the first loony pics of the year, but they all got lost in the transfer.

I stole this pic from Jose's FB. Last weekend Squire James returned to The Estate for some home cooking. We had perfectly BBQ'ed steak and light and airy onion rings. L to R Razor, me, Sir Edwin, James, Jordin, TT and Jose behind the camera. Apple pie and ice cream for dessert. Grasshopper was under the weather and so was a no-show. Personally, I would have crawled, dragging my IV bottle and respirator for Jose's onion rings.

Not too much snow in the poor old boat this morning.

We grow them tough in the "near north". Tim must get a LOL out of that one.

Still not sure what this shrub is called.

Ski-Doo trail still open, if yer coming that way.

Loons today, not yesterday.

I don't know about global "warming", but I do get the climate change thing.

This guy, Bruce MacKinnon, of the Halifax Chronicle-Herald, is quickly becoming my fav editorial cartoonist.

This link is for the math geeks out there. Plot This .

Yeah Sis, we like our April showers a little firmer than most.

Happy Birthday Charlie Brown! You are 9 years old today. I'd post your picture but your Dad hasn't posted a picture of you since you were like 8 and 1/2.

12" of fresh snow. We're not sure if it's a record yet, environment Canada is a little slow.

I'd say that Burl and Ives could not do this scene any justice.

Oops, blogger inserted these pics out of sequence and I'm not going to cut and paste just for you. This Whiskey Jack showed up at the feeder on Tuesday to clean up a ham bone.

I shovelled out the boat 5 times yesterday.

Partridge this morning.

Our snowmobile trail is open.

I call this one "Fractiles in nature". Don't hurt your brain over it.

Last Thursday, as I was watching this Grouse out the side window,

Grasshopper was watching this one eating buds out the composting room window.

We have had geese around for weeks, but this is the first flock to fly directly overhead.

I went beach combing the other day. I found a Ferrari and a giant crayfish.

I also found a raccoon tail. Something had killed it and the only thing left was some fluff and the tail.

This old milk crate had washed up from some where.

I said, don't get me going!

I like this one.
