Making ice

Monday

Tuesday

Wednesday, lost most of the ice due to winds overnight. Did you know that it's been scientifically proven that the wind doesn't blow? It's actually that PEI sucks. Har, har, har

Thursday

Random pics.

A wolf trotted up our driveway and turned around...

This far from our gate. He probably smelled George.

Cow and calf tracks behind our A frame.

2-5 cm of snow, Little Tomiko style.

OK, this posting is all mixed up. Google is saying that they want some money to save my pictures. By the time I figured out how to do an end run, the pics, and my brain got scrambled.

Last week Big Luke, Bone Head, I mean Lee (he has my boat), Wiener, Kerry and the girls came for a long weekend. Lee was up to his old mud making tricks.

Kids, fires, and big rocks, who needs a sitter?

This morning.

All the repairs have been done at the AKA Smith's.

Cute bunkie.

New roof and solar tube. New solar panel was installed after this pic was taken.

See, out of sequence. Yesterday morning, first day of winter, we hope.

That's it for me for today.

Somebody called you the gentleman farmer, but, I think you are supposed to cook them first.

To be opened on the 14th of November only.

I am busy tomorrow, so this post is a day early.

Happy Birthday Athena, you are 5 years old already!

No, no, no, that's not Athena, that's my Mom. This was her birthday, too.

This is Athena, with her fiance, Bodhi, who gave her a ring AND a car!

Here's a link to a cute video for Athena, Click me.

I forgot to answer a few comments.

Mike 1. Most favourite daughter in law, Rachel, son Joseph, Calliope and Nova are expecting.

Tim 1. If you want to get technical, I guess it would be 6 to 0, 6 to 0, 6 to 1.  By my new math calculator, that would equal 18 to 1.

Mike 2. It's the water pump.

Last Monday "they" promised us a mix of sun and cloud. We had this sun rise...

and this hole in the clouds at sun set, with nothing but cloud allll day long.

The evening grosbeaks are back.

The pine grosbeaks, too.

Frost.

On Friday we took out the boat and the dock came out on Saturday. Whoa, whoa, whoa, I know that it is early, but we aren't wimps, or, what's that other politically incorrect word, cities?, but she's going into the Wright Choice dry dock for a refit next week.

We do have the use of a tin boat and 15 horse motor 'till freeze up. Where's the key?

We have ignition!

Off to another 911-Frank call.
