Still snowing this morning.

Last evening we had a better late than never birthday dinner for TT. Unfortunately this was the only pic that came out. On the menu was stuffed spare ribs, fried chicken, fried rice, Singapore noodles, and chow mein. But, everybody went home hungry 'cause there were no fish balls. Attending was TT, of course, Razor, Bryan, Grasshopper, Jose, Jolene, and me. Sir Edwin was in the health center getting his ticker reset.

Ice melting off of clothes line pulley.

View out the kitchen window.

Beans and wieners, Little Tomiko style.

Home made beans.

Home made brown bread.

Dogs in the wood stove.

TADAA!

Fine tuning a fish fry.

Just testing.

Walking around the block.

Still melting.

Hairy Woodpecker

Black-capped Chickadee.

This guy looks a little different.

The Grouse are still coming to the feeder.

That different looking bird turned out to be a Boreal Chickadee.

They have more brown than the black-capped.

 Mr. and Mrs. Pine Grosbeak.

Another visitor was the Northern Shrike. They are small raptors who feed on small birds. This one appears to have gone to George the cat's school of bird hunting at bird feeders.

Nice birds.

Did you see my "Snow Shadow" picture (http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ebj557zKX1o/UTSvBqZHyyI/AAAAAAAAKqA/MD3Cfcpr8lI/s1600/DSCN6924.JPG)? I thought it was cool. Sun came out, real hot, just for a few minutes, melted everything it could see. This was pretty transient. I wish I had camera skillz to get a decent composition.
