Happy Birthday SILy Anne

Is it just me, or have you noticed that ALL of the smart people were born in December?

The sun coming up last Wednesday.

Pink sky and a raven that evening.

Fox tracks on my Thursday morning walk-about.

Looks like were gonna get some snow.

Friday morning, we finally got some snow that we can work with.

The fire pit.

Don Fraser Bypass.

Our lone grackle. Some times it just sits there and sings like there's no tomorrow. It should fly down the lake and hang out with TT's grackle.

I luv the lake this time of year.

Who's happy now?

His and her's sleighs. We put some logs in the sleighs and groomed our driveway and Brule lake road out to the 9.5 mile marker on the Notman road.

Saturday morning we woke up to an ice fog that coated everything in rime.

Where's Bill's point?

Our nicely groomed driveway.

Fox pee mail.

The foxes like the grooming.

Fog art.

We started the snow ramp from the lake up to our property.

The public beach.

More fog art, in a foot print on the ice.

Rime on a spider's web.

This morning. The Bypass has been groomed, too.

Her. You can see how she uses her left wing for balance.

Grasshopper calls this old birch Chantilly Lace and it really looks like it all covered in rime.

The ramp. It's about 4 feet at it's thickest part. That's a ton of snow to move, mostly with a scoop.

Walking down the ramp. Zooming in to Bedrock, next project is the tree line.
