I'm sorry to pass on that Gerry Laframboise, from Tomiko Station, has passed away. 


LAFRAMBOISE, Gerard "Gerry" - Peacefully surrounded by his family at the North Bay Regional Health Centre, on February 7, 2014 at the age of 61 years. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Sally (nee O'Donnell). Loving father of Kandi Leigh Martynyshyn (Mike) and Lisa Stoa (Luke). Cherished and devoted Papa of Isaac, Avery, Eilah and Gavin. Gerry is the dear brother of Leona Cybulski, Bernadette Laframboise, Edna Kennedy (William- deceased), Tony Laframboise (Susan) and Rod Laframboise (Carmine). He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Gerry is predeceased by his parents George and Mary (nee Gelinas) and his brothers Jimmy Laframboise (Sylvia) and Leonard Laframboise. Gerry enjoyed spending time at Tomiko with family and friends, playing cards and fishing with the "boyz" and those special long walks with the love of his life Sally. Family will be receiving friends at the McGuinty Funeral Home on Sunday from 7 -9 pm. Memorial Service will be conducted in the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel Monday at 11 am. Interment to follow at All Saints Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre or Daffodil Terrace Lodge would be gratefully appreciated by his family. North Bay can be proud of the outstanding care givers at the North Bay Regional Hospital, in particular we are grateful to the nurses and support staff on A1. Thank you Sandra for your expertise and compassion during your daily visits. A very special thank you also goes to Nancy and Don for their support and commitment to our family throughout this difficult time. We are also grateful to our neighbors for their unassuming assistance.
