We had an invasion of warblers this morning come thru our yard eating some kind of caterpillars that had just hatched. Pics are poor 'cause of bad lighting, small targets, and you guys never got me that big lens for Xmas last year. We saw, Black-and-White Warblers, Magnolia Warblers, Pine Warblers, and Blackburnian Warblers. Here's a link that might help you identify birds, thanks to Dr. Brown. What's my Birdie?

Pine Warbler.

The Whiskey Jacks came by, too.

The dragon flies were feeding on a hatch on the lake.

Just to show how hard it is to shoot these little guys, there is a Black and White Warbler, dead center in this pic.

Strange colours in the sky after a storm blew thru Sunday evening.

The eagle is still harassing the loons, but, everybody is still OK.

We haven't had any mergansers all summer.

Truism.
