The weather the past couple of weeks has been "unsettled" as Jill, the weather "specialist" likes to say. Or, as the old folks say, if you don't like the weather, wait 20 minutes.

Last Tuesday morning.

Later that afternoon we met the Rolandson clan, Glen, Gail, Gwenna, and Andy from Moose Lake, at the AKA's.

George came by, sportin' his red vest.

That evening we had a romantic pashgetti dinner at the Smish's Pashta Housh. (try shayin' it fasht 3 times)

Yer probably gonna see lots of hawk pics. We have had three flying around and hunting on our property.

We call this the Robin's branch, 'cause the robin hangs out here all the time. It's the highest branch on our lot.

The baby loon, I guess he is a tweenager now that he can dive, is still around.

If you look really close, you will see two eagles soaring over top of Tweenie.

Mrs. Hummer, shot thru a screen.

More hawks. Dr. Brown thinks that they are Cooper's hawks, Grasshopper leans towards Merlins. I'm with the Doc. Maybe these pics are more definitive.

Here's something that you don't see everyday 'cause you live in a concrete jungle. Loon feeding Tweenie.  See the minnow in Mom's beak?

Ooooh, is that RED that I see?

Dock spider and babies. The boot is only for comparison. Most of us co-exist with them 'cause they eat bugs.

After another shower last evening.

This is a pic taken by my baby brother in Fort Simpson, NWT. It's a gene thing, I guess.

Hey, check this out. The Bishop Superkids are on vacation in Ottawa. The crazy nuts went on a biplane ride! NOT my idea of fun!

Captain Kurt and Athena.

Kman.

Now that Newfoundland and Labrador is a HAVE province, the Newfies had to come up with another use for their unemployment boots.

I think that Calliope would like this song.
