Long, rambling, scrambled post. I've been busy.

Geese flying south on the 31st of August. We had heard them days before, but this was the first time in camera range.

Blue moon beside the anemometer.

Two of our whisky jacks came home on the 1st of September.

That evening we had a char-coaled beef roast at camp-full-of-it. L to R, Grasshopper, Bonehead, Carrie, Scarlet, Grace and Big Luke.

Peach pie a la Irish Creme.

Fire works.

Grasshopper feeding the bush chickens.

Way back on the 21st of August, I went to Jocko with Razor, MR. Soprano, Tommy Soprano, and some OLD guy that we'll just call MR. Whiner. Here's Tommy with the first pike of the day.

YEAH! Red maple in August.

I don't know if you can id this guy Dr. J.

On the 23rd of August we had a pot luck/chicken fry at the Lube & Grill. I know that I'm going to forget somebody, but here goes. Jose, Paul, Jihe, TTSK, TT, Razor, Tom, Mary Anne, Julia, Flo, Bryan,  La Famiglia Soprano, DLR, and Jersey.

Oh, how could I forget Mr. Whiner and his much quieter wife, mmmmm Diane???

Tom and DLR shucking corn and a bear hunter, hunting for bares.

Fried chicken a la Razor.

Julia's moose cookies.

Josie's angel cup cakes.

Grasshopper's son Rob came for a week. They went mushroom hunting.

Oh yeah, Grasshopper has a new ride. She sold her Phaser and bought a Polaris Sportsman, with power steering.

hey K-man and Nova, here's the cool part. It transforms with tracks for the winter.

She's looking pretty proud of her ride.

Then it was time for another Fowler feast. Two Grandmothers hatting it up.

Tom and Sir Edwin catching up.

The Szymanski's presented Jose with a BEAUTIFUL WINTER scene.

Let's see, TT, Paul, Julia, Granny Ticket, Flo.

Mary and Bryan. Somehow, Rob and Joakima both eluded the camera's lens.

Check out Granny Ticket's chocolate, fluffy thingy.

I bet that there's some really good mushrooms this way.

Grasshopper and Rob did the short Chief Commanda tour.

Chef Le Brun's beer can chicken, all ready to go.

Now that's good eats!

There's still more to catch up, but I'll try to stay on top of it in the future.

Puh-lease. Don't you have anything more challenging?!?

That is a immature Rose-breasted Grosbeak.
