I know that it's been a while, but we've been busy and now I have a bad head cold. We'll see how far I get today.

The 21st, a warm spell.

The 22nd. With the warm spell, the ramp started falling into the lake, cracking at the top.

Just enough sun for a sun set.

The 23rd. Sun for the morning walk about.

We always expect to see somebody looking out at us from hole.

But it's always empty.

Another bird landing in the snow, but, not walking away.

Dec 24th. The crack is getting deeper.

Slushy. Doesn't look like we will sled across the lake tomorrow.

Sun rise Christmas morning.

Then sleigh all loaded to go around the lake to our truck.

All six super kids waiting for the opening of the gifts.

Floyd is now taller than his presents.

A dump truck and an excavator.

Athena gets an owl

and a DS game.

Beep, beep, beep

Nova had to use his new Swiss army knife to open his DS game.

Leggings, books, and a gift card for Ellia.

Calliope also got leggings, books and a gift card.

Kaeden needed lots of help to open his

DS game.

 Nova

Gerry and Linda put on another awesome dinner. Thank you very much. You help make this an extra special day.

 All six, in a row.

Checking the ice on the 27th.

Freezing rain and wind took down a few trees on our road.

The ramp lost a lot of weight.

This air hole kept gurgling water up and flushing back down with the wind.

The ramp tipped over even more.

Almost better for water skiing than sledding.

This tree marks where my water pump is and where the ice is not safe.

The 28th, my birthday. We got up early to check out the ice. We walked about half way to Bedrock before we decided to wait a few more days.

Nova icing my cake.

The first cut is the deepest. My personal photographer forgot to take pics of the KFC.

That evening we had a surf and turf dinner @ Mr. Slate's compound. Again the personal photographer was saving space on the memory card.

Les chefs. Kathleen and Helena.

Mr. Slate and Albert chill-axing.

Dec 29th. First trip across the lake. Going to light Bonehead's fire.

Christmas dinner at the Estate with Jose, Jacey, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Bone head and Big Luke and Grasshopper.

Dec 30th. I plowed the Sand Dam road, the lake road and the back road up to the estate.

This rig was parked on the road. At least he was out of the way. There were a bunch of dicks parked where they shouldn't be.

Ice fishers.

Just another grouse video.

Annnd that's all I got. There was a crappy video of the Bedrock fireworks on New Year's Eve but I don't feel like doing the trimming.
