Time for another update, and it's a long one.

Lenny, waving at you on the 22nd of August.

The Giustizia (and you thought that SZY was hard to spell) family dropped by for a visit in Corky.

Max zoom, couldn't tell who this was.

An eagle likes to sit in that tall pine just to the left of Wolf's Bay and antagonize the loons. Can you see him?

Now?

There you go.

Grasshopper's Cybershot has a real good zoom. This was taken from our dock.

Lenny last Wednesday. You can see that he is starting to moult and get some white on him.

Last Thursday morning a large flock of geese flew over head, heading south. By the time that everything registered in the brain pan, this is all I got.

Last Friday we went on an ATV ride to the Tomiko restaurant with the AKA's and Paul. Fall colours, already.

If you ever head up Hwy. 11N, this is a good place for good eats.

Paul, Mary-Lou, Jon, Grasshopper, and me.

Optimistic George sitting on a chipmunk hole. He never gets them.

Last Saturday we worked on the chain gang fixin' some potholes  and some brush cuttin' on Myra and Collin's Memorial Way.

Mr. Slate hoeing.

Big Mitts with a big load.

The eagle was back on Monday. Can you see it?

Now?

There it is.

He is less exposed, but the loons still see him and call out warnings.

When we went on that ride to Tilden Lake, I broke the rear drive on the Arctic Cat so we had to take her to town to the vet's.

We made a pit stop at the landfill. Grasshopper was impressed as this excavator crawled over this pile of wood.

We had a few storm cells pass thru last evening. This sequence was taken in between a couple of storms.

Mr. Slate does the ALS ice drowning, I mean, challenge.

The Burgesville Labour Day parade is so long that it starts out on the Sand Dam Road.
