First off, before I forget, Happy Birthday to SILy Anne. And, because I DID forget, a belated Happy Birthday to SILy Janet. I must have been too busy makin' ice, yeah. I'm going with that one.

Yesterday was another warm one.

A layer of water under a crust of ice.

The ramp, so far.

Open water along the shore.

I had to stop collecting snow, it was getting too wet.

Today was warm too.

I have been trying to get a close up of the white breasted nuthatch, but it is too shy. They have a comical face.

The red breasted nuthatch, on the other hand has no qualms about getting it's picture taken.
