Happy birthday Bryan!
Bryan and Maggie
Guess who else celebrates today?
We've been busy getting ready for spring. Removing boughs, raking and stuff like that. We are also replacing the bug screens on the deck. I can't remember how long the old ones were there, but Dr. Joseph helped me make them way before he was a Dr.
Last Saturday. The ice remembers every thing, even side by side snow shoes.
It looks like a bunch of crazy nut-bars were on the ice, which one were you?
Oops, out of sequence, Friday.
A conspiracy of ravens.
The ice ramp.
The ice road. If I really, really needed something from town, I could have sent Grasshopper across the ice.
I guess nothing happened on Sunday, so, off to Monday.
Half a Vee of geese.
The Don Fraser Bypass.
If you squint, you might see a pair of common mergansers.
Today. The ice road is officially closed.
Our driveway. There is still a couple of feet of snow in places that drifted in and was packed down by sleds.
You will just have to trust me that there are two otters in the middle of this pick.
By late afternoon there was lots of open water.
Today we also saw a loon and a heron.
