Pics from yesterday.
We went for a walk about after the worst of the rain had stopped.
Blimey! Bloody 'ell mate, she sure is foggy. The pea soup keeps rolling in. Makes you homesick for the old country.
Still lots of snow on the Don Fraser Bypass.
Not so much on the on ramp.
Water every where.
The ice road is still passable.
Grackles and Red wings.
Night time visitors to the feeders.
A familiar site this morning. Don't poke out the other eye Jose, it won't last past Monday????
Not too much?
Today has been a record day for birds. Here's the list, Grouse, Fox sparrows, Yellow belly sap sucker, Tree sparrows, Robins, Red wing black birds, Grackles, Starlings, White throated sparrows, Dark eyed juncos, Song sparrows, Redpolls, Chickadees and a Common flicker.
This little fellow was different from all his buddies. A Hoary?
Today I checked out the driveway for fallen trees, just one old, dead fir down.
The Notman road.
Sand lake, looking where the herons nested.
Another Tomiko pot hole, on the Brule lake road. It's hard to tell, but it's about a 2 foot drop. Not quite wide enough for the skies.
Output side of the first culvert on our drive.
Another pot hole just past the gravel pit.
Another flooded spot.
Out put side of second culvert.
Water is running over the Notman road at the river. I have a video that I can email to you if you want it.
No funny for you today
