Whether the weather.

Yesterday morning started out nice for a change. Grasshopper went yard sale-ing with Linda and Kathleen. When they got home they brought rain clouds with them. It poured all through supper. The sun popped out when it was low in the sky making all the colours pop out too.

Imagine my surprise, (delight?) when we woke up to snow this morning. HA! Take that you blood sucking little @#$%^%$#$'s. Today has been a roller coaster with wind, sun, snow, sun, hail and sun.

A view of a bird feeder through a window.

The view out of the kitchen window.

The view out of the bathroom window.

The view from the screened deck.

Do you see a trend here? Yup, the black flies are back, and they are hungry. We went from frost Tuesday morning to too darn hot on Wednesday. We got the Lady from London (the Queen?) house all ready to go. A couple of water leaks and a broken water heater are all fixed. Now we just wait for her royal presence. We got the Fowler's generator cable repaired. Tomorrow it's off to Maxi Park. There seems to be a water leak there too. That's it for now.

We have had two bad wind storms this past week. We lost this tree in the first storm. It just missed the old tin shed and the garage.

This guy has been "hanging" around for a few days.

We had a break in at the bird feeder. Who was that masked man?

We had another bad wind storm on Thursday. After lunch the storm died down just as the forecast said it would, so we headed off to the Fowler's to check out a generator cable. We beached the boat and started to work on the cable. Dang, if the storm didn't come back and swamp the boat. Nobody could ever remember seeing bigger waves on Little Tomiko. We had to leave the boat over night. The Little Tomiko mayor lent us a boat so we could go home. Thanks Tina! Friday morning we went back and pumped out the boat and re floated it. The motor started right up but only ran for a few minutes. Water had gotten into the gas. So we towed to boat home and drained the fuel tank and carburetors. The boat is running fine now.

I have saved the best for last. IT"S SNOWING!!

Happy Birthday

Michelle

You make cute babies 'cause you were one.

We still have frost in the mornings.

If you are really lucky, you can still find some snow in low, shady spots.

I've been busy the last little while putting in docks and boats and starting water systems.

I saw Dave M. on the road the other day but haven't had time to drop in yet.

The bugs are starting already. You wouldn't believe how thick the midges are. The drone could drive you nuts. Luckily they don't bite. That's it for now.

Happy Birthday Sis! Remember the

good OLD days when parents gave

their kids weapons to play with?

A couple of evenings ago.

Yesterday the wind blew hard all day. The boat was doing wheelies, tied up to the dock.

Last evening we had the first rainbow of the season.

Rapids on the Little Tomiko River.

Hey TPD, I passed your house last week and noticed that the two cedars at your front door need a couple of your "little blue pills".
