Here they come.

The sign says it all.

Sorry for the glare, it's hard to take a photo of a photo.

Some serious card playin'. Sorry for the glare in this shot, Gord didn't have a hat on.

Vic and Dan were both at the last Daytona 500, but didn't see each other. Apparently, one of them was in the "cheap" seats.

The prize table. The prize, front and center is for Richie.

A great time was had by all. Everybody acted like perfect gentlemen. Nobody had to hold the floor down and even Patty stayed vertical. Richie was a no-show, hence the prize. (Man, he REALLY needs a nicer boss) If I remember correctly, Jamie and Razor won the tournament. Whitey and Edison were second and TPD and Captain Vic were third.

A 99 and 27/28th % full moon.

We dropped in to visit Jose, Ed and Bryan the other day. Gypsy greets Grasshopper.

Meet the newest resident of Little Tomiko, Bess, the 11 week old Newfie.

Pics of the total eclipse. That's the best I can do with the lens that I have.

As expected, Richie's Boss wouldn't let him leave early, so he won't get here 'till tomorrow. I'd go on strike Rich, or go work for another idiot.

What a difference a few days make. Friday, sunny and -15c.

This morning, +4c and rain. We got over .5 inches of rain, washing alot of the snow that we had recovered since the last thaw.

This week is a week of celebrations. First, today is a new provincial holiday called Family day. Just what everybody needs, a long weekend in February. Don't worry, you folks in the land that time forgot, you'll get this holiday in about twenty years.

Next, today is Linda's birthday. Happy Birthday Linda, don't get a sunburn down there in Fa La La land.

And tomorrow is Joseph's birthday. You know that you are getting old when you have a bunch of X's in front of your Roman numeral birthday.

This weekend will be Men's weekend. Lots of sledding and card playing, and acting like sensible adults (???) We'll have to see if Richie's boss will give him some time off.

We had a snow day Sunday.

Snow Dog.

It cleared up Monday.

We had -30 temps the past few nights, but the days have been very sunny and the batteries are very, very happy. I actually was making more power than the solar regulator can handle and had to turn the solar panels away from the sun at noon. It all has to do with the angle of the dangle.

Grasshopper has gone to town today, by herself. She will pick up Louise in town and they will probably raid the Dollar store.

Yesterday was a beautiful day, so we decided to go visiting.

Oops, nobody home.

No one here either.

It looks like Ron and the PQ have been around, recently, BUT THEY DIDN'T COME VISIT US, DID THEY?

No one at home here.

Or here.

HELLO, ANYBODY UP THERE?

What's up Doc?

Where are Y'all?

Better start warming up the ol' tin can for men's weekend.

A nice end to a nice day, except for the airplane.

Not much to report today. Temp is +1c and cloudy.

We went to town yesterday to make OPEC happy. We found wolf tracks on the Notman road.

Wolf Alley.
