Back on Nov. 2 we had snow and sun and fog.
Nov 3, Razor, Corey and I took out the float boat and dock @ The Estate; no pics - too fast. While there, I picked up a present from the Szy's of Gowanda, NY.
Do we know something that you don't know?
The gift, a stainless steel pizza paddle made by the Amish, I believe.
The Szy's summer home.
6 Nov. Went to Camp Full of It as wood stove lighting season has started. Big Luke, Bonehead and Scarrie were coming late that night. You can see that we lost our snow.
Bill's point.
Dock on shore @ The Estate.
Nov. 7. Look what Scarrie brought us!
Sun dog reflection in the lake.
George wants a treat, too. And he wouldn't mind picking feathers out of his teeth.
After a quick coffee @ Camp full of it, and moving 10 ton wood stoves, we went home and took out our own boat and dock. Yeah, I know! It's early this year. I feel like I'm cheating, but, you know, the old girl isn't getting any younger, and neither is the boat. Har, har, har.
On Saturday Big Luke came by to feed the Whiskey Jacks.
Sunday.
These are the slowest beavers that I have ever seen, must be in a union. You can see that it finally realized that it's first cut was too low and started another one.
First sign of ice on the lake.
We went to Bedrock for dinner. Bristol chillin' with Tawno.
Snowed all afternoon.
Porchetta, with pork and moose meat.
Monday the 10th.
Not making any power.
I just missed a loon as it dove. When it finally came up, it was too far away.
Tuesday, Grasshopper has hurt a knee, and like a saint, I drove her to the ER.
Our driveway.
Sand lake, pretty much froze over.
The river is still high.
Otter slide.
On the way back home, Grasshopper spotted this big guy.
Stylish, I must say.
Today.
Work to rule?
The Transformer is all ready to go.
Another gift, this one from the Hippy Chick from Woodstock, a manual clothes dryer.
Well, that turned out to be longer that 5 minutes, no jokes for you today. OK, maybe just one.
