So, last Monday night and into Tuesday we had this wet snow that stuck to every thing.
Screens on the deck.
The poor lake trying to recover.
Home sweet home.
The driveway.
You never know what yer gonna find.
Wednesday was an awesome day.
Now, the chickadees are lineing up @ the fly thru.
We have an injured whiskey jack. We call it Her. Her left ankle appears to be broken. She can move the leg, but can not put pressure on the foot. She uses her left wing like an out rigger for balance.
Parts of the driveway looks like this.
Looking straight up on the Don Fraser Bypass.
Looks like open water towards Bill's point.
The wind blew ice patties around.
Siding on the generator shed.
It kinda looks like I lied about keeping this short.
Thursday morning, OMG! Two nice days in a row!
A sun rise.
Bring it on.
This is Her.
Ain't she sweet?
She normally keeps her injured foot inside her feathers.
Friday whoot, whoot!
We worked for three days trimming brush off the driveway.
Grasshopper said that I had blood on my nose, but, man, I just couldn't see it. Some times you whack the bush, and some times the bush whacks you.
Saturday the lake was frozen right across.
The drive way has a nice packed trail. Too bad they are calling for +5 temps on Sunday.
The lake looked gruesome this morning.
We lost most of the snow in our yard.
I had a little glitch in our water system today and needed to check out the pump. I hauled the canoe out of storage, only to find out that I didn't need it.
Where's the beach? That a way.
Because the post was kind of long, I won't bore you with jokes. And this is no joke. The way this government and especially Fantino treats our vets, makes me sick to my stomach.
OK, one little joke to make up for my little rant.
