Boy, it was hot last week and this wasn't the hottest day.
Luckily, besides being on the sunny side of the lake, we are on the breezy side of the lake, too.
Kinda reminds you of No-Show, doesn't it?
Just out and aboat. (I crack me up!)
Friday we heard a clunk on a window. I found a bird on the ground. Grasshopper guessed, and it was later confirmed by Dr. J.W. Brown, birder extraordinaire, that it was a Cape May Warbler. Good thing that Dr. Frankenstein was on duty.
A little bleary eyed.
Physical exam.
Starting to come around.
After treatment and rest, it took off like a bullet.
Supper yesterday at the Fowler Estate for Jolene's 59th birthday and a visit from Jose's friend from Nfld, Dale. Nice buns!
The Fowler Botanical Gardens are bright and colourful.
Mmmmmm.
The birthday girl, Jolene, and Bryan.
Jose and her old friend, Dale. We'll, she's not that old, but she is pretty friendly.
Looking thru the narrows, from the back balcony.
The setting sun...
High lighted another display in the FBG's.
On the drive home.
Happy birthday Jolene!
