"Common" Flicker. I don't think that there is any thing "common" about it. Same as for the "Common" Loon which we heard, but did not see yesterday.

Our ice road was still visible yesterday morning around 10'ish.

Around noon I noticed that the ice road was behind the boat and you could see the trail to Wolf bay too.

So, in goes the dock.

Clean up.

We went out and aboat (some times I crack me up) after supper. Ice towards the pointy end.
