We went to town yesterday to see the Brown Super kids. No pics because of "Shrek 2", black outs, and floods of near biblical proportions. BUT, they are coming out here on Thursday so you will get a very large dose of cuteness.
We have had some cedar waxwings around the cabin lately, but they are quite shy when you have a camera in hand. They are very acrobatic while eating hobble bush berries.
Great Blue Herons and Double-crested Cormorants nesting at Sand Lake.
Has anyone noticed that the Loons are "flocking up" already? They normally only do this just before they leave late in the fall. The one second from the left is waving a foot at you.
Mysteries of Little Tomiko, "Stick Henge."
The next two pics are for any entomologists out there, or any Dr. Dudes that might know one. This grew on the window in the aluminum door on the deck. The black dots moved around the white thingies and appeared to be bugs or spiders of some sort. The black doo-dads are gone now, but the white (eggs?) are still there.

I am really looking forward to someone identifying the buggy thingies on the window! Come on all you scientific peeps!
