Female Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
Yellow-rumped Warbler.
Probably a Yellow Warbler. All of these birds are here, all you have to do is look.
Friday afternoon we had a couple of T-storms blow through. The rain fell so hard it beat the lake to a frothy foam.
After the storm we went to the second storey deck for Happy Hour with Big Luke and his outlaws. Photos courtesy of Grasshopper.
Kids, dogs, and muskie bait. That's what summer is all about.
As nice as it was, you could sense something was coming. This pic looks like a painting, to me.
This one too.
Double, double toil and trouble, fire burn and cauldron bubble.
After that storm we went home, just as everything settled down for the night.
Humidity.

Yellow-bellied Sapsucker.
We went fishing with the Fowlers last Sunday evening, trying to help Paul catch one, any one.
I was the only one to catch one, just a little feller who was released to be caught next year.
Because these guys were on my spot!
Sunset thru the narrows.
Looking at the world thru polarized sun glasses.
Monday afternoon, I think.
Dragonzilla on the screen.
Bees on a sun flower.
Beezilla.
The water level in the lake is low. Some one marked a rock in the narrows. I would have thought that the big white skid mark was good enough.
Last evening we went to the Fowler estate so that Grasshopper could take the "best onion rings ever course" from Chef Jose.
Taste testers were Grasshopper, TT, Sir Edwin, Paul, me and Jose. Again, June was a no show.

Another day on Little Tomiko, another party! Sometimes it's just easier to bring everybody to the visitor than take the visitor to everybody.
Schmoozing at the Lube and Grill.
Waiting for the BBQ chef.
Waiting, waiting,......tap, tap, tap.
I couldn't take pics of the table, or the meal 'cause I was blinded by the BBQ smoke, and the proteges were too busy, EATING! Thanks a lot Grasshopper 1 & 2.
After the eats we hung out with Dave and Emily around their fire.
And that's the way we roll at Little Tomiko. One day up to here in a broken septic, and a gala fiesta the next.
This one's for the Brown Superkids, somewhere between here and there.
