Late this morning the sun came out so I decided to go bird hunting. Before I was ready to go, it rained, then the sun came out, so Kita and I went. Then it rained, then it was sunny, then it rained, etc all day.

This is a pretty big bole. Kinda looks like a big butt. Almost as big as TT's........bole.


Almost out to the end of my drive way we found this big old dead yellow birch across the trail. No rest for the wicked, am I really that bad? So walk back to the cabin and get the truck and chain saw.


The day wasn't a total waste, we did get 2 grouse. Sorry Tina, but they are yummy.
