What could be better than KFC?  How about onion rings and a tall, cold, dark and dirty? I had to use frozen rings 'cause Josie's take out is closed for the season.

Yesterday, in the rain, 3 grouse came to the feeder. 

 

In the fall the mice start looking for interior living spaces. We meet them at the door with Tomiko mouse traps.

The night before last I set a one night record of 8 mice.

And one in the generator shed.

We have had some weird weather the past week or so. Yesterday was sunny, cloudy, hurricane winds, dead calm and rainy. I went for a walk around the block in brilliant sunshine and was soaked to the skin by the time I got back home.
