Not much difference again. The temperature dropped below freezing last night and is only +4 right now.
I'm have to go around the lake tomorrow. We will be all out of dog food after supper tonight. Kita's supper, not ours.
We have seen bald eagles, herons, loons and mergansers this past week.
Poor old Moose passed away Wednesday. He lived a good life all the way to the end. We'll miss him.

open water...have you gone fishing yet?
Years ago a friend and I walked all day back in to a lake(hoping the ice would be gone) it wasn't. but there was a small open area like that along the shore. my buddy took a cast and caught a 4 pound trout.
