A moldy/mouldy, which spelling do you use, whiskey jack.
On Saturday a single loon was off shore.
Here, it is preening, where they tip over on their side and wave a foot in the air.
Mrs Henny Penny braving the wind and rain for some peanuts. She is the only grouse who likes peanuts.
More beaver works. I guess that it doesn't bother them to work in the rain.
This tree ...
looked like this on Saturday. It's close to 24 inches.

You said it, Sister! It rained, and then it rained some more, and it is still raining. I'm getting mouldy from the rain.
The longest view all day.
The sky turned this weird colour around dinner time. It couldn't have anything to do with a sunset...
This is the one that you see in the water beside the dock.
The busy rodents are widening the Bypass.
They are even trimming the bush around our A frame.

Wednesday. Lenny and Mom came by. By the time that I saw them, got a rain coat on, rubber boots, hat, and found the camera, they were well past a good photo op.

Thursday, lately, this is what we call a clear day.
Today. The rain gauge was reset on Wednesday.
The beavers have been using our boat ramp as a dinning table.
The beavers have been on a rampage, lately. On the path to the Don Fraser Bypass.

Sunday morning, the sun rise lighting up Bedrock.
So, on Saturday I had taken a pound of burger out to defrost while I went to Frasertown. I ended up having supper there, and by the time I got home the burger was at a wood fired room temperature. I didn't take a chance on it so the burger went to the birds. Happy Thanksgiving!
The two of them cleaned it up in an hour.
I was going to the Estate for Thanksgiving dinner. I thought I would make cookies instead of the normal buns.
"Best ever" chewy chocolate chip cookies. I think I did OK for my first try.
Ham, turkey, dressing, roast potatoes and all of the other fixin's. Who needs Frank's buns?
La chefette.
Josie, James, Rachel, Jagriti, and Bryan. Sir Edwin was having his predinner snooze.
The end of a thankful day.

Last Thursday started off pretty good, until it rained.
We are getting sun sets now that they are moving to the south.
We have 2 flying squirrels coming to the feeder at night. I lit them up with a 3,000,000 candle power flashlight.
A beaver has knocked down a birch beside our dock. I'll drag it up to the wood pile when he finishes limbing it.
Knock, knock.
They don't even wait until my hand is out the window.
The sound of the shutter scares this bird.
Yesterday I went to Frasertown, after a rain shower.
The Szys have missed the colours this year.
Coming home last evening.
It's hard to steer, and park a boat and shoot pics at the same time.
A promising start for today.
A little fog at Bill's point.
Bedrock and the Sullivan's were lit up this morning.
I had better enjoy today, 'cause the future looks grim.
Shame on you Mr. Harper.
