The end of a sadd day, yesterday.

Breakfast this morning. There were 3 grouse, but they wouldn't agree to pose together.

Ahhh, that's better!

They are calling for -22 temps Wednesday night. That should tighten things up.

Anne, I'll take the first 2 minutes, and you take the next 20.

No Show Richie, I hear that you are coming up in February, what year?

Tom, I read your email last evening and I felt your pain. But today I'm over it. Snow cures everything. You know that you could trailer your sleds up here and Donnie would take you for the ride of your life.

Lee, have some patience!

Oh, the horrors!
OR
Are you sure that you switched to LEDS?

Waves on Lil' Tomiko this morning.

Ice road to Bedrock.

We even have gra, gra gra, grass. ICK!

So, remember to switch to LEDs, turn off your computer when not in use and send lots of money to the Stop Global Warming Society, in care of me.

I know that it's been a while, but ya still love me, don't ya?

This morning, what do you think, sailors?

Let's go back in time and see how well our rememory circuits work. This was New Year's Eve. Big Luke and his sidekick Bone Head came in. The AKA Smiths arrived late in the day.

We missed the fire works at Bedrock, but made it for the bonfire. I had a little gastronomical issue and didn't stay too late.

The Ski-Doo-Bee-Doo/hat rack/bar.That's big Luke's ride in behind.

Some people drank too much and got a little blurry.

Jan 2 2013

Sun rise shining thru Wolf's bay.

Dr. Joseph, the bird man of Ypsilanti, gave us this finch feeder/sock. The redpolls loved it and crawled over it like ants, but finches are a bit flinchy and it was hard to get a pick with all of the at once. The feeder is empty already.

Time warp of a sun set last Sunday.

Impression left when a partridge takes off.

Three air holes, all in a row.

Slush, you can run, but you can't hide.

Looks like hidden air holes.

Fox tracks.

Another hidden air hole?

YIKES!

Don't worry, no intrepid reporters were injured in this assignment. I just went down as far as the "Y" joint, and didn't even get a soaker.

And that is as good an end as any.

Grab a coffee and sit back, this'll take a while.

Christmas eve at the Estate.

The usual suspects, Jose, Grasshopper, Edwin, hiding is Jabari, then TT and Bryan. Lately I have been terrible in getting everybody in the shot.

Jose's trifle.

Frank's sticky buns.

Chefette Jose.

Christmas Day

The Slotes, Joseph's inlaws graciously allowed the whole Brown/Bishop clan into their home.

Video games rule,

Until the presents come out.

Super Nova got a remote control dump truck and excavator.

K-man got a radio control helicopter.

Calliope got nail painting stuff.

Athena got lots of art supplies and Ellia got nail stuff too.

Looks like it has lasers!

Watch out Grasshopper!

We stayed at the Slote's for turkey and all the fixin's. And pie too. L to R, Nova, Matt, Rachel and Pickles, Joseph, Molly, Gerry, Linda, Grasshopper, Sarah, Sam and Calliope.

Boxing Day at Lil' Tomiko.

The bird man, Dr. Joseph and a whiskey jack.

K-dude waiting on the ski-doo-bee-doo. Nova waiting for the transformer.

Even through the steamed up lens, you can tell that George was not impressed with the invasion of his territory.

Ellia did her nails.

Our tree. Michelle made the quilted pillow with hand prints from her monkeys.

Everybody decorated onesies for Pickles. OH!, Some of you might not know that Nova and Calliope are expecting a little brother at the end of April. For now he is known as Pickles.

Grandpa Frank's contribution, the front.

The back.

Everybody's art work.

Athena was NOT impressed with the helmet.

Kaeden feeding the chickadees.

Hot dogs and veggie dogs over an open fire.

Ellia was in charge of the hot chocolate.

Silly portrait.

Serious portrait.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MEEEE!

Whoot, whoot.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing.

Chocolate cake with peppermint patties.

How's this Gary?

So Tiny Tim ... us retired people are much busier than you working stiffs, we never get a day off, and those of us with 5.5 super kids are much, MUCH busier than those with 1, or ZERO grand kids. But, we do eventually get around to updating our social media, unlike those that must have lost their cameras, or cords. Check out Grasshopper's tracks, you could change your 6 week 4wheeler into a year round machine.
