This might be the week that you take a break from selling cookies and take that little drive up north, just sayin'. :D

Most peeps think that this is the best colours we have seen in years.

This is all that was left of a birch tree. It was like they vacuumed after they ate.

The juncos are back.

The AKA Smith's septic is completed.

The Camp of Bullcrap's system is finished, too. They had to install some silt barriers because of the slope.

Last Thursday I went to Indian Lake to winterize Gerry's water system. Our driveway.

The Road to Riches.

Gerry's camp.

Indian Lake.

That's Rose and Keith's place way down there.

The swamp at the causeway.

The long view to the culverts that they replaced under the tracks last spring.

The on ramp from Richie's road to the Road to Riches.

The church.

They have been working for months replacing the bridge at Duchesnay Creek on Hwy 11.

Some late season fishing terrorists, I mean tourists. I always get those two words mixed up. :(

Early morning sun shining on Bedrock.

Fog this morning.

A link to a video that Grasshopper took on the way to town showing colours on Hwy 11.

On Friday the 23rd we had a pre-party for Sharon's birthday. When yer 1111002 years old, you get two parties. <:-P I was busy before the actual party on Saturday and forgot to take my camera, but, you know the drill, lots and lots of peeps and lots and lots and lots of food. As a party favour, everybody got to take two sausages home. =))

The AKA Smiths are getting a septic system installed.

That Sunday we had our first frost.

A blue sun set.

Camp Lotta Bull is getting a septic too. Their hole is bigger because, well, they are more full of it. @-) Can you see Grasshopper at the far end?

The Smith's is almost finished.

The colours around the lake are about a week behind normal.

So, we fast forward to Friday and the colours are coming along.

Camp full of @#it's system getting buried.

All approved. Topsoil next week.

Dawg came for a visit.

Sunrise shining on Generator bay and Bill's point.

I dropped by Dan and Judy's and Dawg showed up there. Dawg also scared the crap (har, har) out of one of the septic contractors as he was eating his lunch.

Judy and Dawg.

Three pileated woodpeckers were terrorizing the bush this morning. I only got a pic of one.
