Happy Birthday to the Hippie Chick from Woodstock.

Monday morning was another cool one. B-)

Can you see Mrs. Penny? She's hunkered down in the warm snow.

She has her head up now that I'm closer.

Oops, and there she goes.

Monday afternoon we went to the Estate to meet a new resident. Now you can meet Ms. Tilly. She is 7 months old.

Dill is not too impressed with the new pest, I mean pet.

And yes, she is English, you know. 'ello, ow be on, ay up, alright laa.

I hope y'all had a good valentine's day out there :x, especially all of you Saints. O:) OK, and you guys too >:).

A great big Hairy wood pecker in for breakfast.

After blowing snow last Thursday.

The sun going down on a nice winter's day.

Supper at Frankie's PizzeriaTM. A thin crust for her,

and a regular crust for him.

It's been cool here lately. The temp last Thursday after coffee was made.

The low over night, a record for this winter, so far. The "high" for today is supposed to be -22, wind chill -43.

So, yesterday being Valentine's day, I took the Missus out for a romantic lunch. The snow mobile clubs had a promotion of a free weekend pass for the family day holiday. So we took the groomed trail up to the Tomiko Restaurant, which is at Tilden Lake (?). It's about 25 miles away. It was cold and blowing like 90, so we mostly had the trail to ourselves.

A place for your helmets.

There was a family of grandparents, parents and ankle biters. They took over the games room for all of the snow suits and booties.

Funny, there's no venison on the menu.

An aerial photo of 12 moose.

A beer can boat.

A photo of a bob cat.

Last night was cold and blowin'. One time I thought that our solar panels were going to end up at Bedrock. There were no fox tracks or other normal signs of night life, yet this morning you could see mouse tracks heading to the bird feeders.

Seen at Josie's.

Time fer sum home schoolin'.
