More fog this morning, again 5c.


The trip to town yesterday was uneventful. I finally met up with Rich last evening and had a burger and a pop. Today we are going to move the fridge I sold to Rich, and install it at his place. Maybe I should get the money before we get to the end of the dock.

Last evening was another one that kept changing.










We got 99.99999% of the lower roof done today. We would have finished it all, but Dan's knees were sore (???). The boys are on their own tomorrow, I'm going to town again. Didn't I just go, like 3 weeks ago?

I haven't heard from Rich yet, maybe we'll get together for a cocktail.

I helped out at the Kelly's today. After supper, good eats Kathleen!, we had a partial rainbow.


Other than that, it's pretty quiet at Little Tomiko.

We had a good time at the pot luck last evening. Here, Lorna, Shirley and Trailerpark Dan, dig in. As usual, everybody liked my buns, some people couldn't keep their hands off of them.

After supper we sat around the fire and had a cocktail or two. And nobody got "tired".

Sorry I didn't post last night. I got tired again, it must be that date rape drug thing. I guess if you got "it", ya gotta keep your guard up!

Were having a little pot luck at Trailerpark Dan's this evening. I'm trying to make my famous over night rolls into over morning rolls. If they don't turn out, you can blame whoever took advantage of me last night.

Hey! The cat was hot! Gimme a break! Jeeez, you'd think I put turpentine on his butt or something. Plus he only gets one bath a year.

Sorry I'm late. You know us working guys. I've been helping the Kelly's get back on schedule. They're behind because of the rain this week. I'll probably help out until the end of the week. And the suppers are great. Roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, the whole works tonight. I could get used to this. At least someone on the lake has the cooking gene.

This A.M.


HOT today, 31.9c, 80% humidity. Its a good thing we have a 23 kph wind. I've gone swimming twice already. George was really hot so I put on a heavy jacket and wrapped him in a towel. I put another towel over his face. He was ok until I set him on the dock and the towel fell off of his face. I almost had to throw him and the dock into the water.

If looks could kill, I'd be a goner.


Kita thought it was really funny that George went for a swim. Kita doesn't like the water much, he normally goes in just enough to get his belly wet. So, in you go Kita!
