Feeding the Whiskey Jacks.
We had a hard frost this morning. Good thing I remembered to cover the tomatoes. SJC, the long range weather is calling for a little cooler than normal, but, hopefully, with lots of sun. You might want to pack your Dr. Dentons.

Happy birthday Liz! The BIG Labbat "50"!
What a beautiful week. I'm slowly catching up on my to-do list. I think that I'm up to stuff that I was going to do in mid June, but was held up by all the rain. SJC, you should have been here this week.
No time to stop and smell the leaves.
Another morning shot.
Linda and Lynn-Marie kayaked over yesterday. That's Lynn waaay back behind Linda. She kinda sounded like an outboard. City folks don't seem to get enough exercise.
Hey Tim, I see that Yellowknife's high today is 2c, got your snow-sneakers on yet?

Another feast at the Fowler's.
The guests of honour were Josie's cousins, Jan and Elsie from Australia.
This pic is for the blokes down under.
Here, I think Keith and Jan are learning about our crocodillian mosquitoes.
Catherine put on her "Dr. Ruth" hat and "educated" Elsie.
Another typical Little Tomiko sunset ended the evening just right.

The giant tomatoes are ripening, finally. Some of them look mutated.
This shot looks like freeze up.
A nice afternoon pic.
Yesterday morning I noticed this little guy in the back yard. It seemed like it was cold so I put him/her up out of Kita's reach and in the sun. The bird kept flying down and I kept putting it back up until it just died. I think that it was some kind of warbler, but I'll defer proper ID to the expert, Joseph.

We had our first frost Wednesday morning! You can smell fall in the air. It's kind of weird to see fall coming so fast when we didn't have a summer.
It was another foggy morning.
This blog has been brought to you by the Wonderful World of Mac. Good bye Vista and the blue screen of death. Happy retirement Bill Gates, you got out just in time.
